UCO Delegate Form
UCO OFFICER/DELEGATE FORM- UCO maintains a record of directors and UCO delegates for each of the 309 CV Associations. These records need to be updated annually, using an “Officer/Delegate” form that is supplied by UCO. A blank copy of this form is appended to this report. Some associations have not updated their forms, so there are Directors listed that are no longer on the Board, and some Associations have no representation at the UCO Delegate Assembly, our Board of Directors.
The UCO Delegate Assembly meets monthly, and votes on community issues like major projects and contracts, the annual UCO Budget, and elections for the UCO Officers Committee and UCO Executive Board. New Officer/Delegate forms must be filled out, signed by a Director, have the Association’s seal affixed, and be delivered to UCO. Representation at the UCO Delegate Assembly is one Delegate per twenty four units, with a minimum of one Delegate per association. Boards may also designate an unlimited number of alternate delegates, to ensure that the Associations are represented at every meeting of the UCO Delegate Assembly. We also ask that each association designate a "CERT Contact" that the volunteer team can contact after a hurricane. The designated CERT contact can also participate in the CV COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT) program, which meets on the second Friday of each week, 1:00 PM, at the CV Clubhouse.
