When a new owner presents themselves to the ID Office, the staff erases all previous information including gate access. Most residents selling do not think to do this.
Of great importance is board involvement. If they suspect something is amiss they should contact the ID Office (561-640-3120, opt #4) and give the staff detailed information. If the board is correct the information will be removed.
LATE NIGHT ENTRIES/EXITS- For over a decade, Century Village WPB has had a policy of restricted entries and exits during overnight hours (12:00 AM to 5:00 AM). This policy is intended to reduce crime, particularly car theft, and increase safety. Below is the schedule:
- Okeechobee Boulevard (West Gate): Entrances only, no exits between 12:00 AM until 5:00 AM.
- Haverhill Road (East Gate): Exits only, no entrances between 12:00 AM until 5:00 AM.
Our security contractor records license tags for all vehicles entering and exiting CV between midnight and 5:00 AM, and security cameras record these license tags as well. Drivers exiting CV are required to stop briefly at the Haverhill Guardhouse to allow the security officer to log in the car, and to open the swing gate before the vehicle can exit the property.
