What is the Booking Blotter?
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office provides an online Booking Blotter to search records for people currently in its custody or booked during the date range available on the site. It is a county booking resource, rather than a complete history of every incident in Century Village.
PBSO warns that the information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date and should not be relied on for legal action. It also warns about false identification information. A name match alone is not reliable proof that the record concerns a particular neighbor or applicant.
How to search the official site
- Open PBSO’s Booking Blotter. Use the official link above and complete any human-verification prompt.
- Choose a short date range. The current page directs searches to a range of up to 31 days within its displayed one-year window. Follow the dates and limits shown when you visit.
- Enter a name if known. The form offers first- and last-name fields and accepts full or partial information.
- Use other filters carefully. Available fields include street name, city, statute, and arresting agency. Too many filters can exclude relevant results.
- Review the matching entry. Compare available identifying details, booking information, and the charge information displayed.
- Check the court record. Use the Clerk’s system to follow the case and verify its disposition.
For a longer period, run separate permitted date ranges. A search with no results is not a certificate that someone has never been arrested.
Search PBSO booking recordsLooking for records associated with Century Village
If you know the person’s name, start with that and a relevant date range. If you are exploring records associated with a location, try the street-name field using the relevant subdivision or street name and adjust your search if necessary.
Century Village addresses can be recorded in different ways. A subdivision name, abbreviation, city label, or mailing address may not match your first attempt. Treat address searching as a way to locate possible records, not a complete count of local arrests.
The form does not provide a verified “all Century Village arrests” search. Do not interpret a street or city filter as a precise neighborhood boundary.
Read results carefully
| Information | How to interpret it |
|---|---|
| Booking date | A processing date; it may differ from the alleged offense date |
| Listed charge | An allegation at the recorded stage, subject to later case developments |
| Release or custody information | A status that can change; it is not the same as a case outcome |
| Name or address | Information to verify, not a conclusive identity or incident-location match |
| No matching entry | A limited search result, not a complete criminal-history clearance |
Records outside the available window, bookings elsewhere, confidential records, and differences in search terms can all limit what a search finds.
Use court records to follow the case
The Palm Beach County Clerk’s eCaseView provides access to public civil, criminal, and traffic case information. Guest users can search by name or case number and review available case details and documents. Some records are restricted or unavailable online.
- Use a case number where available, or search the person’s name.
- Check identifying details and the relevant dates to avoid confusing people with similar names.
- Review the docket and available orders for later developments and disposition.
- Ask the Clerk for help or official copies when the online record does not answer the question.
A dismissal, amended charge, plea, or judgment may change the meaning of an earlier booking entry. Obtain qualified advice before using a record for a legal decision.

A public booking search can raise a question that needs verification. It is not a substitute for an authorized screening process, reliable identity checks, or legal advice about approval, occupancy, or enforcement.
Before taking adverse action based on criminal information, consult the association’s attorney about the governing documents, applicable law, fair-housing obligations, accuracy, and the facts of the case. Avoid treating every arrest as grounds for denial or removal.
Limit circulation of sensitive material to the people who need it for an authorized purpose. Do not publish accusations about a resident on a bulletin board or social media. Address specific safety concerns through appropriate association procedures and law enforcement.
Responsible decisions require more than a search result.
For an active safety concern
Call 911 for immediate danger, a crime in progress, or an emergency. For a nonemergency police matter, contact PBSO at 561-688-3000. Searching a booking record does not report an incident or request police assistance.
For broader neighborhood crime information, use official incident-reporting and crime-information resources. Booking records alone do not measure Century Village’s crime rate.

Record the search limits before using a result
For an authorized review, record the official source, date searched, date range, filters, possible match, and verification still needed. Do not describe a name or address match as confirmed identity.
- Use the live site’s current search limits.
- Distinguish booking, charge, custody status, and court disposition.
- Check the court case using reliable identifiers where available.
- Route any proposed screening or enforcement decision to the authorized process and counsel.
A search is not an incident report or a complete background check. Limit circulation to the legitimate task; do not build a public accusation list or infer guilt from an arrest.
