Resident information

Find the right starting point for life in Century Village West Palm Beach—from a building repair or new resident paperwork to a bus schedule, pool question, or hurricane plan.

Where should I start?

Every condominium association has its own governing documents.

Rules, approval steps, and responsibility for a particular repair or expense can vary. Confirm them with your association and its recorded declaration. For legal, insurance, structural, or disputed responsibility questions, request professional review. See who to contact first.

New resident checklist

Ask your association for its current documents and contacts. UCO says purchase, rental, and occupancy applications go to the condominium association for board signatures before UCO accepts them. [1]

Safety and storm preparation

Something is happening now

For fire, injury, or immediate danger, call 911. For a leak or building hazard, also notify your association’s emergency contact promptly. Give your unit and building, the location of the problem, and a callback number. Document damage when it is safe to do so.

Responsibility for repair or insurance coverage depends on the facts and governing documents; ask the association and qualified professionals to review them.

Common questions

Do I need both a resident ID and a vehicle barcode?

They serve different purposes. WPRF manages resident IDs; UCO handles vehicle barcodes. Ask each office for its current eligibility and documentation requirements. [1]

Where do I begin if I am buying or renting a unit?

Start with the specific condominium association. UCO states that completed purchase, rental, and occupancy applications must first be submitted to the association for board signatures. [1]

Where can I see the bus schedule?

UCO maintains a bus schedule page with internal and external routes. Check it before travel because schedules can change. [3]

Where can I learn about my rights as a condominium owner?

The Florida DBPR offers unit owner education on records, meetings, budgets, elections, and responsibilities. For a question about your own association, read its documents and seek qualified advice when needed. [5]
