Start with the Supervisor of Elections
The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections is the official source for public-election registration, ballots, voting locations, and assistance. UCO, WPRF, and your condominium association are useful community contacts, but election officials determine your registration status and voting assignment.
2026 General Election: plan now
Dates below were checked October 17, 2026. Recheck the official election calendar before acting. This section should be updated after the election.
| Action | Official date or deadline |
|---|---|
| New voter registration deadline | October 5, 2026 — already passed |
| Early voting | October 19–November 1, 2026, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. |
| Request a ballot to be mailed | October 22, 2026, by 5 p.m. |
| Election Day | November 3, 2026, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. |
| Return a vote-by-mail ballot | Received at the main elections office by 7 p.m. November 3; branch office deadline is 5 p.m.; the main office secure intake station remains open until 7 p.m. |
If you are already registered in Florida and have moved, contact the elections office about updating your address and eligibility for this election. Do not assume that the new-registration deadline prevents an existing voter from updating information.

Eligibility includes U.S. citizenship, legal Florida residency, being at least 18 to vote, and meeting the other applicable qualifications. Owning a unit in Century Village does not by itself establish voting eligibility. Seasonal residents should confirm their legal voting residence with election officials.
- New registrants: Use the official online application or obtain a paper application through the elections office.
- Existing Florida voters: Check your record and update your address, name, or other information as needed.
- Questions about eligibility: Ask the elections office, including questions about restoration of voting rights.
Keep your residential and mailing addresses accurate. For residents who spend part of the year elsewhere, confirm where election mail and any requested ballot should be sent.
Registration instructionsUpdate voter informationChoose how to vote
| Method | Where | Plan ahead |
|---|---|---|
| Early voting | Any open Palm Beach County early-voting site | Check dates, hours, locations, and accepted ID |
| Election Day | Your assigned precinct’s polling place | Use your exact residential address to verify the assignment |
| Vote by mail | Request through the elections office; return using an authorized method | Check request and receipt deadlines and track your ballot |
Where do Century Village residents vote?
Check the official Precinct Finder for your address before each election. Do not assume every Century Village resident has the same location or that a previous clubhouse voting location still applies. Early-voting sites and Election Day polling places serve different purposes.
What identification should you bring?
Bring valid, current photo and signature identification from the accepted list, such as a Florida driver license or Florida ID. Separate accepted documents may supply the photo and signature. If proper ID is missing, ask election workers about a provisional ballot. Do not rely on your Century Village resident ID as voting identification.
Early-voting sitesElection Day & accepted IDVote by mail: check the request and the return
Any registered voter may request a vote-by-mail ballot. Confirm that your request is current; requests do not continue indefinitely. Ballots are not forwarded by the Postal Service, so notify the elections office if your mailing address changes or you will be away.
- Request through an official channel. Provide the required identifying information directly to the elections office.
- Read the ballot and envelope instructions. Complete and sign the return materials as directed.
- Return it early. A postmark alone does not meet the ordinary ballot receipt deadline.
- Track the ballot. Use the official tracking information and contact the office promptly about a problem.
Use only the return locations and hours published for the election. Do not assume an Election Day precinct accepts returned mail ballots. If your plans change and you want to vote in person, ask election officials how to proceed and bring your mail ballot if you have it.
Request, return & track a ballotAccessibility & assistance
Residents with disabilities can ask about accessible voting equipment and assistance at voting locations. Election workers can explain the available options. Contact the elections office in advance if you need assistance planning your visit or an accessible vote-by-mail option.
You may be able to bring a person to assist you, subject to the applicable rules. Ask election officials about those rules rather than assuming anyone may complete or return voting materials for you.
For transportation, plan the round trip and confirm the destination, schedule, and accessibility. Check available community transportation directly; do not assume a special voting shuttle exists.
Official accessibility informationCommunity transportationHow associations and neighbors can help
Share official links, dated election reminders, and contact information. Help a neighbor find the correct office or understand where to obtain instructions, while leaving ballot choices to the voter.
Before organizing a registration drive or collecting completed registration applications or ballots, ask the elections office about the rules that apply. Avoid collecting residents’ sensitive identification information through association email or informal forms.
A useful bulletin-board reminder is: “Check your voter registration, confirm your voting location, and review the official deadlines at VotePalmBeach.gov.” Include the date of the notice so old information is not mistaken for a current schedule.
Good information helps every eligible voter participate.

Board Synergy recommended practice
Use the official 2026 General Election page for current instructions and links. Public voting and condominium association elections are separate processes.
- Check a changed ID number: The elections office advises voters with a Florida driver license or state ID issued since July 31, 2024 to update their voter record with the new number. Submit identifying information directly through official channels.
- Confirm the return location: For the November 3 election, the main office and its secure intake station accept ballots until 7 p.m.; branch offices close at 5 p.m. Other intake locations have their own published schedules. An Election Day polling place is not a mail-ballot drop-off site.
- If a question remains: Contact election officials about registration updates, ballot status, a signature issue, identification, or assistance promptly. Do not rely on an association volunteer to decide eligibility or resolve a ballot problem.

The checklists above are recommended practices. Florida law, governing-document requirements, UCO procedures, and contractual duties have different sources of authority. Confirm the requirements that apply to your association.
