West Palm Recreational Facilities

Understanding WPRF’s role in Century Village West Palm Beach—and where to turn for recreation, resident IDs, entertainment, and service questions.

Explore servicesContact information

A well-informed community makes better use of its amenities.

What is WPRF?

W.P.R.F., Inc., commonly called West Palm Recreational Facilities, manages recreation facilities and services in Century Village West Palm Beach. UCO’s official resources identify WPRF as the contact for recreation pools, classes, theater, and resident ID cards at the Main Clubhouse.

Cenvill Recreation’s corporate website describes its oversight of recreational operations in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Pembroke Pines. For a local service question, start with the West Palm Beach office and select information specifically for this community.

Separate responsibilities matter. Recreation management, UCO community services, and your condominium association’s building responsibilities involve different organizations. Identify the responsible organization before making a request.

What residents can ask WPRF about

Main Clubhouse & activities

Ask about recreation facilities, activity schedules, classes, and how to participate. Confirm room use, registration, and any program requirements before attending.

Theater & entertainment

The West Palm Beach theater website provides show information, movies, dances, season materials, and ticket instructions. Check the current calendar rather than an old brochure.

Fitness & recreation pools

Ask about the fitness facilities, available programs, recreation pool access, schedules, and closures. A pool associated with an individual condominium may have a different operator and rules.

Resident ID services

Contact WPRF’s ID office about resident IDs and updates. Ask what documents are needed for your situation and confirm hours before visiting.

Before attending an activity

Check eligibility, guest requirements, identification, reservations, prices, and accessibility arrangements. Rules can vary by activity. Bring the required documents and ask for assistance if you are unsure.

Fees, leases & community agreements

Century Village’s recreation arrangements involve lease and operating documents. The supplied Water Management Agreement, recorded in 2000, identifies WPRF as recreation manager and refers to the Recreation Leases, the Millennium UCO Amendment, and an Operating Agreement.

A resident or buyer should review the current documents and payment instructions for the particular unit. Ask for a clear explanation of association assessments, recreation-related charges, other community charges, and any separate activity or ticket fees.

Check the actual obligation. Do not assume that choosing not to use an amenity eliminates a payment requirement. The applicable documents determine the obligation. For a disputed charge or lease provision, obtain qualified legal advice.

The historical water-management agreement also assigns particular responsibilities between WPRF and UCO. It should be read with later records before treating a historical project requirement as a current obligation.

How association boards can coordinate effectively

  1. Give residents a clear contact guide. Identify WPRF recreation and ID services, UCO services, and association contacts.
  2. Use current information. Link to official schedules and instructions; date printed notices and remove outdated ones.
  3. Report concerns with facts. Include the facility, date, issue, prior contacts, and requested action.
  4. Identify a point of contact. Coordinate through the property manager or designated director when the concern affects the association.
  5. Check shared obligations. Obtain the relevant agreement before committing the association to work or costs involving another organization’s facilities.

Constructive communication can help resolve confusion about access, programming, or maintenance. Keep a record of responses and explain the outcome to residents.

Clear roles. Better coordination. A stronger village.

Accessibility & participation

The official theater page states that recreation facilities, including the theater, are accessible to people with disabilities and directs those needing special accommodations to the Ticket Office. Contact staff ahead of your visit to discuss the arrangements you need.

If you would like to contribute time, ask WPRF about current recreation-related volunteer assignments. Our volunteer page describes ways residents can explore participation; openings and requirements must be confirmed with the organizer.

Prepare for ID, access, and account questions

Board Synergy recommended practice Before contacting an office, identify the affected service: recreation ID, theater ticket account, guest entry, vehicle barcode, or an association payment question. Explain the problem without sending passwords or unnecessary resident information. Confirm requested identity documents through the operator’s published contact channel.

Operator procedure The West Palm Beach theater page publishes current ticket access instructions and links to season information. Ticket-office and ID-office procedures can differ; use the contact for the service involved.

Contractual duty Recreation charges and any collection or recovery arrangement require review of the applicable documents. For the Asset Recovery Program, ask WPRF for current written terms, charges, authority, eligibility, and the division of responsibilities before the board participates. Do not infer current terms from the program’s name or a historical description.

For a new resident, link the association’s approval documentation and UCO processing to the separate ID and access arrangements. For an unresolved facility concern, record the location, date, prior contact, reference number, requested action, and follow-up date. Report immediate danger to 911.
